The VanMoof S6 combines the brand’s unmistakable straight-frame design with intelligent electric assistance, automatic shifting and advanced integrated security.

Created for riders who want a confident, responsive and exceptionally clean urban e-bike, the S6 features 27.5-inch wheels and a classic high-step frame. The result is a stable, controlled ride that feels equally at home on fast daily commutes and longer journeys across the city.

Developed using 11 years of VanMoof e-bike innovation and engineering expertise from McLaren Applied, the S6 has been redesigned from the inside out for greater performance, reliability and everyday usability.

Powerful and responsive assistance

The VanMoof S6 is powered by a 250 W front-wheel motor delivering up to 68 Nm of torque.

Choose between four assistance levels to match your route and preferred riding style. When you need extra acceleration, press the responsive Boost Button for an immediate surge of power—ideal for moving away from traffic lights, climbing hills or navigating busy urban roads.

Electric assistance supports you up to 25 km/h, while the integrated battery provides an estimated riding range of 60–150 km, depending on assistance level, terrain, weather and riding conditions.

Automatic three-speed shifting

The S6 is equipped with VanMoof’s improved three-speed AutoShift Hub.

Instead of requiring manual gear changes, the system reads your speed and automatically selects the appropriate gear in real time. Gear changes feel smooth, quiet and intuitive, allowing you to maintain momentum without interrupting your ride.

Security built into the bike

The VanMoof S6 features multiple layers of integrated theft protection.

Tap the Gen 6 Kick Lock with your foot to immobilise the rear wheel, switch off the bike and activate its security system. When you return, unlock the bike through the VanMoof app or use Touch Unlock from the handlebars.

The S6 also includes Always On Tracking and Apple Find My integration, helping you locate the bike directly from your smartphone.

For additional protection, VanMoof’s optional Theft Proof service provides professional recovery support. If the stolen bike cannot be recovered, the service may provide a replacement according to the applicable service conditions.

A smarter way to ride

The redesigned Control Core acts as the central electronic system behind the S6’s connected features.

It manages the bike’s motor assistance, shifting, security, tracking and rider controls. The system has been engineered for improved reliability and includes a separate power reserve that allows the Kick Lock to continue functioning even when the main battery is empty.

The brighter next-generation Halo Light Display provides clear visual information directly from the handlebars, including your battery level, assistance setting and current riding status.

Integrated Peak Design phone mount

Every VanMoof S6 includes an integrated Peak Design phone mount using SlimLink™ magnetic-mechanical technology.

With a compatible Peak Design phone case or adapter, your phone connects securely to the handlebars with a single click. This keeps navigation, ride information and VanMoof app controls visible and accessible throughout your journey.

Designed for confident urban riding

The S6 uses VanMoof’s classic straight frame and larger 27.5-inch wheels to provide a stable, controlled and responsive riding experience.

Its minimal aluminium frame hides much of the bike’s technology and cabling, creating the clean silhouette for which VanMoof is known. Integrated lighting, enclosed components and automatic shifting make the S6 practical for everyday commuting while keeping maintenance and visual clutter to a minimum.

The VanMoof S6 is recommended for riders approximately 165–210 cm tall.

Warranty

The VanMoof S6 is covered by a three-year manufacturer’s warranty from the date of delivery. The battery, motor and electronic components are covered for three years or 7,500 km, whichever comes first.
