The VanMoof S6 Open combines iconic design, intelligent technology and powerful electric assistance with an easy-access step-through frame. Its compact 24-inch wheels and lower frame make getting on and off effortless, while maintaining the smooth, stable and unmistakably VanMoof riding experience.

Built on more than a decade of e-bike innovation and developed with engineering expertise from McLaren Applied, the S6 Open has been redesigned from the inside out to deliver greater reliability, smarter security and a more intuitive ride.

Smooth, powerful assistance

The front-wheel motor delivers up to 68 Nm of torque, giving you responsive support when accelerating, climbing or moving through busy city traffic. Choose between four assistance levels, or press the Boost Button whenever you need an immediate burst of extra power.

With electric assistance up to 25 km/h and a riding range of approximately 60-150 km, the S6 Open is equally suited to everyday commuting and longer journeys across the city.

Automatic three-speed shifting

Forget about manually changing gears. The improved three-speed AutoShift Hub automatically responds to your speed and adjusts the gearing as you ride.

The fully automatic system delivers smooth and quiet gear changes, allowing you to focus entirely on the road ahead.

Security built into the bike

The VanMoof S6 Open features several layers of integrated theft protection.

Tap the Gen 6 Kick Lock with your foot to secure the rear wheel and activate the alarm. The bike can recognise its rider, unlock through the VanMoof app and provide accurate location tracking through its connected Control Core.

Apple Find My integration adds another layer of visibility, while VanMoof’s optional Theft Proof service can help recover or replace the bike if it is stolen.

The next-generation Halo Rings provide clear, easy-to-read information directly from the handlebars. Check your battery level, speed and selected assistance level without taking your attention away from the road.

Made for everyday urban life

Integrated front and rear lights help keep you visible day and night, while hydraulic disc brakes provide dependable stopping power in changing city conditions.

The enclosed drivetrain, automatic gears and integrated electronics create a clean, minimal design with fewer exposed components and less everyday maintenance.

Warranty

The VanMoof S6 Open is covered by a manufacturer’s warranty for three years or 7,500 km, whichever comes first. Warranty conditions apply.
